The Future of Space CRC bid is live! Congratulations to all involved getting us to this stage.
Bid CEO Anna Moore FTSE and bid Chair Daniel Joinbee launched the Future of Space CRC bid this morning at Avalon Australian International Airshow at our The Australian National University booth 4B1.
ANU Institute for Space | InSpace and Gunggandji Aerospace teams were here to welcome guests to hear all about how the Future of Space CRC will lead space innovation through increased access to space which is poised to have a major impact on sectors such as pharmaceuticals and semiconductors.
Australia needs to accelerate its sovereign manufacturing and space capabilities together with embedded policy frameworks to capitalise on the new commercial opportunities arising from the reduced cost of access to space.
The Future of Space CRC will bring together a unique group of stakeholders from industry, research, government and First Nations communities to drive this acceleration.
Four thematic areas are under development:
* Semiconductor Design and IP
* Enabling the microgravity economy
* Safe and scaleable returns and recovery
* First Nations Communities and a Social License for space
