iLAuNCH Trailblazer colleagues and collaborators to celebrate at IAC luncheon

IAC 2025 Sydney was a remarkable week for all and one highlight was the chance for ANU Institute for Space | InSpace to meet with all of our iLAuNCH Trailblazer colleagues and collaborators to celebrate the work we have done building Australian space manufacturing capabilities.

The headlines are:

πŸŽ“πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί 3 Australian Universities came together - University of Southern Queensland, The Australian National University and Adelaide University
πŸ’°πŸ›°οΈ with a $200 million investment (with $187 million contracted in industry projects,
πŸ‘©β€πŸš€πŸš€ to produce 9 space missions
πŸ”¬πŸ“‘ 13 of these were ANU-led projects involving additive manufacturing, space microwearables, satellite thrust control, satellite communications, satellites identification, hypersonic detection, Project SWIFT, and platforms for earth observation and space transport/logistics.

Thanks to John Bell and @University of Southern Queensland for their ongoing iLAuNCH Trailblazer leadership. We look forward to working closely with the new iLAuNCH Chair Rachel Noble and with Peter Schubel and Dr Samantha Rose as they take the helm of the iLAuNCH Executive moving forward.

A fond farewell and many thanks to Darin Lovett, Dr. Joni Sytsma and Milica Symul.
