ANU PhD student Jackie Scholes was one of the first scholars to take part in the brilliant opportunity that is the iLAuNCH Trailblazer Future Innovation Leaders Program.
ANU Institute for Space | InSpace had a chat with him post-IAC about his experience with the program and he said that, "Participating in the iLAuNCH Future Innovation Leaders Program so far has been an absolute pleasure. The program has allowed me to network with both my peers and established industry figures. Engaging in online and in-person workshops has helped me develop my communication and leadership skills, and identify how my research can play a part in the Australian and international space industries. The program-wide meetup at the International Astronautical Congress was delightful, and provided some valuable networking opportunities and opportunities to make new friends. I look forward to continuing through the program, including a one-on-one mentorship program with an industry innovator!"
ANU Institute for Space | InSpace were lucky enough to have Jackie help out on our booth as part of the ACT Government's Team Canberra stand at IAC 2025 Sydney. Jackie was excellent in talking to those wanting to study space related subjects at University, giving his time and advice. Always great to be able to say to someone who comes up and asks about study opportunities and have students like Jackie who can give a first hand account of their journey.
Thanks Jackie and here's to your bright starlit future ahead.
