Congratulations to all finalists and winners at the AusSpace awards. It was a wonderful evening hearing about and catching up with so many talented colleagues, all of whom are working tirelessly to contribute and make space a success story for Australia.

Professor Francis Bennet and his team, Doris Grosse, Ian Price, Michael Copeland, Elisa Jager and ANU Institute for Space | InSpace's Kate Ferguson, won for Research Team of the Year, for their groundbreaking work with optical communications at ANU and the Mt Stromlo Quantum Optical Ground Station.
