NSW Space Research Network(SRN) Event at InSpace

Today was a busy one at ANU Institute for Space | InSpace, our Strategic Project Manager Natasha Disha welcomed representatives from the NSW Space Research Network(SRN) for a full day of discussions exploring current research activities and future collaboration opportunities.

The visit provided a perfect opportunity for SRN representatives to engage directly with ANU researchers working across a diverse range of space-related fields, including space health technologies, dark matter and radon detection, lunar resource utilisation, advanced sensing technologies, radiation protection, engineering innovation, and international collaboration initiatives.

The discussions were robust and energised and reinforced the value of cross-sector engagement in supporting Australia's growing space ecosystem and identifying opportunities for future research partnerships.

For Natasha, "Strong partnerships are critical to ensuring that world-class research translates into real-world outcomes. Visits like these create valuable opportunities to connect researchers with industry and government stakeholders, share emerging capabilities, and explore new pathways for collaboration that can strengthen Australia's space sector."
