It was a pleasure to host a Japanese government delegation last week as part of an Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade #CanberraFellowshipsProgram  visit to strengthen Japan-Australia collaboration in quantum technology.

The delegation toured the The Australian National University Quantum Optical Ground Station at Mt Stromlo, a purpose-built facility to provide the ground segment for high performance optical and quantum communication missions. It was great to discuss how Australian infrastructure could support future Japanese quantum missions.
