Last month, ANU InSpace Associate Director, Strategic Projects, Dr Kate Ferguson, had the exciting opportunity to connect with the US and global space community at the 2025 SIAA US Industry Study Tour and the SIAA 40th Space Symposium.
Kate said, "It was fantastic to attend my first Space Symposium with over 12,000 attendees from around the world and to share InSpace's focus areas, such as the Future of Space CRC, the ANU Quantum Optical Ground Station, and the OzFuel Bushfire Mission."
A highlight was visiting Varda Space Industries and seeing their first returned capsule. A big thank you to Delian Asparouhov and Micah Long for hosting us. We’re excited to continue engaging and exploring how Australia can collaborate on microgravity opportunities.
A special thanks to SIAA Space Industry Association of Australia for organising the tour, and especially Isobel Haddow for the seamless coordination!
