Space Connect Aus Space 25 on the LUNAR - Artemis and the lunar Roo-ver

ANU Institute for Space | InSpace's Associate Director Kate Ferguson, has just spoken at Space Connect Aus Space 25 on the LUNAR - Artemis and the lunar Roo-ver: Setting stepping stones into deep space panel, along with Ben Sorensen, Roo-ver Mission & ELO2 Consortium Director EPE Oceania and Ian Manchester, Director, Australian Centre for Robotics and Professor of Mechatronic Engineering, University of Sydney, where there was a great discussion around the advanced technological work that was being developed for the nation’s first lunar rover the ELO2 lunar Roo-ver and how this work is advancing space capability and the industry here in Australia.

Kate also highlighted other areas that Australia can contribute to the global space arena such as with the Artemis program. ANU is working to upgrade the Quantum Optical Ground Station to be capable of providing Southern Hemisphere ground support to future lunar missions, such as Artemis II.
