Last week, ANU InSpace’s Associate Director for Program Delivery and Operations, Benjamin Bek, attended the SmartSat CRC Conference.

Key highlights included:
🌟 A particularly thought-provoking and future-focused address made by Dr Christyl Johnson, Deputy Center Director for Technology and Research Investments at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.
🌟 An insightful address on pathways for developing new technologies through international and defence-focused partnerships by Lt Gen Larry James, SmartSat CRC Strategic Advisor.
🌟 Many great sessions on the collaborative efforts involving SCARLET-alpha and the Kanyini Mission.
🌟 Presentations by the various research teams on the current progress with their work.

It was also great to hear again from Mikaela Jade FTSE of Indigital, who delivered a keynote at the conference dinner.
