Last week, the team from the ANU Institute for Space attended several Australian space events in Adelaide, including the 9th Australian Space Forum and the Space Industry State Dinner celebrating the opening of the Australian Space Agency’s new headquarters.

The entire event provided the team with ample opportunity to network and there was no shortage of collaborators present with representatives from the government, the Australian Space Agency, CSIRO, SMARTSAT and AMDA to name just a few. As well as being a sponsor for the Space Forum’s Networking Hour, the team were kept busy attending symposiums, workshops, and launches.

Highlights included watching Prime Minister, Scott Morrison, announce a 10-year pathway for transforming and growing the space sector, Dr Megan Clark (AC) formally launch the headquarters for the Australian Space Agency and many integral talks from professionals from across the space sector.

The InSpace team is already looking forward to the next Australian Space Forum!
